After starting up I hear every time a loud pop/click with MooOe Audio 4.0 in combination with the Beoacreate. The settings for Volume control is software and I2S audio device is Hifiberry DAC.
With the original B&O Beocreate software there is NO loud pop/click. This works fine.
With a Hifiberry Amp and the latest MoOde Audio 4.0 there is no pop/click problem. Volume control here is hardware and I2S device is Hifiberry Amp.
Suggestions?

Mute does not support the full features of the Beocreate. You can set the MUTE jumper on the board. However, you need to unmute in software. Moode does not support this out-ouf-the-box. You can control this by a GPIO on the Raspberry Pi.

Perhaps an easy hardware switch on/off on the the 2 pins for mute?
You can do this. But you would need to remember to mute before booting the system.

For the moment, I found a 'simple' solution with a normal relay for switching on the Beocreate, a time relay and the Autoplay function of MoOdeAudio. After powering up, the normal relay is activating a time relay. Then the Moode audio software is starting up and after 45 sec it play's automatically a test sound file. After 1 min the time relay is falling off the mute. A bit cumbersome but it works.
I hope that in the near future Hifyberry Beocreate will come on the list of I2S devices of the MoOde Audio playersoftware. The reason why I like Moode audio so much are the stand-alone options.

I was just testing some MUTE-magic on the DSP. We might be able to fix this in the DSP program. Can you work with SigmaStudio and upload a new program from there? It would be interesting to see if this will work for you.

i've set the MUTE jumper on the board ,
i've created a script :
/home/volumio/setupgpio.sh
with:

sleep 60
gpio mode 2 out
gpio write 2 0
then iv'e added a line at
/etc/rc.local
with:
sh /home/volumio/setupgpio.sh
a line before the:
exit 0
now no "pop" sound :)

But it isn't a definite solution for the loud pop. You can't choose with MoOde a file to play except the last played number. If you stop the Beocreate and restart it, MoOde audio gives a loud pop when you choose a new file to play because, for example, the last file was played from an USB stick which is now removed.
Also when you change to MoOde audio Bluetooth, you will hear a loud pop.
I hope there is a better solution for this annoying startup sound.

Powering it on/off with a switch. It's necessary when MoOdeaudio is shutdown from the interface
With the latest CX50 profile all pop issues with MoOde Audio are solved.
