Hi, I have 2 sets of BeoVox CX100 that I'm planning to give this HiFi-Berry upgrade. When will the stereo-solution be ready to launched?

  You can expect it in April. The profiles are ready, but the guided still need some time.

  Thanks Daniel.. early or late April?  :-)

  The "package" will still just be the BeoCreate-PCB, and wires and connectors shall I find by myself or will this also be a part of the new setup?

  Hi,

  I can't commit a specific date.
  I hope we can also offer connectors and wire soon, but in general you can also buy some 4-pin connectors somewhere in a local shop.

  Hello Daniel, on the website I see that the CX100 is now ready for the  Beocreate but I can't find any information about a stereo setup. 

  Is it already possible and how? Wired by toslink? I suppose I need two Beocrates for a stereo setup.

  Hi,

  you need only a single Beocreate. However, the new profile still has to be integrated into the Beocreate software and the guides have to be updated (as the cabling is a bit different. Therefore I can only ask for a bit more patience. It's coming soon...

  I have an old pair of CX100s and I can't wait to give them the HifiBerry makeover. Am I right in thinking that I still need to wait a bit longer for full stereo support from a single BeoCreate?

  I've just completed a successful build - the only struggle I had was trying to solder the Mini XLR plugs - too small for my eyesight and dexterity and the 4 core wire i had so I used full size XLR plugs.

  Just got a pair of CX100's for my BeoCreate... which DSP profile do I select when installing? Is it the standard CX100 profile: will that profile work for both use as a "mono" speaker (single speaker installation) and for a stereo installation as the above guide shows? Or is there another profile we should use? Thanks for any help!

  edit: ok, i see now! in "Adjustments" in the setup you can choose: "stereo", "left", "right", and "mono"... if only I clicked around in the setup before posting this message.  ;)

  The CX100 profile works for Mono and Stereo. You select the Mono/Stereo mode in the Beocreate settings.
