DAC+ DSP Top Level Forum Category

 In my view the DAC+ DSP is a completely different animal to the straightforward DAC. The DSP variant has considerable functionality that is not present on the  DAC. The DAC+ DSP board should, therefore, have its own category in the forum and not be lumped in with the DAC+ posts. 

Clearly the DSP functionality has massive potential and deserves a dedicated Forum folder/WiKi etc. At the moment info is spread all over the place; HiFiBerry Forum, Github, Analogue devices Forum....and its quite a pain for a newbie to really understand what the DSP can do and how to do it. A 'one-stop-shop' forum which provides all the necessary info or links to it would help everybody. I see incredible potential for this device.

  Hi,

  the best category will be the Beocreate category as the basic DSP functionality and the tools are the same. I'll rename this category a bit to make it easier to find the right category.
  While it might be nice to have one in a single place, I don't think we will be able to do this. For specific hardware informations on the DSP or tips&tricks how to use SigmaStudio, Analog's web site will be the first choice. 
  The information on Github are specifically the documentation of our "dsptoolkit" software. We want to leave this on Github for 2 reasons: users can create pull request to update documentation or update the software itself. We've already seen some users creating improvements for the Beocreate software and I hope we can also build a community around the dsptoolkit to implement functionality that other users find beneficial.
  I see that this isn't an easy product for beginners at the moment, but we're looking forward to improve documentation and tools around it in the future.

  Is it possible to add a proper wiki area on this site and let the documentation get gradually assembled through crowd-sourcing? I see this post is 5 years old and while I encountered very few issues setting up my DAC+DSP, I feel like I barely scratched the surface of what I could get from the board and HifiberryOS.
