Beocreate power connector specs

I'm having a hard time finding more detailed specs about the power supply input on the Beocreate board. I've seen the recommendation of 12-24 V and that there is a 60W and a 120W(recommended) power supply in the HiFiBerry shop. What I can't find is details on the input. I assume it's a barrel connector, though it doesn't say and the photos in the shop hides the connector behind the enclosure. What's the outside diameter? Pin diameter? Is it positive pin or negative pin?

If someone could enlighten me I'd be happy.

  In that documentation, it says:

  External power supply 12-20V, barrel jack 5.5×2.1mm (outer pin -)

  1. Does the power supply on the home page, which is 24V, work then, for the Beocreate?

  2. Do you sell this barrel jack? I have to connect the Beocreate in my car, so I would need such a barrel jack.

  The 24V power supply works well.

  While we don't sell the barell jacks, this is a standard part that you can get from practically any electronics dealer.

  I bought the 24V power supply and now my Beocreate 4 is fried. Is there something I needed to have done before inserting it? The whole thing catched fire and it smells in the entire room. If I try to reinsert it, it pops a little, but still there is something wrong here. Here's a video.

  Ok, it was faulty hardware, which you replaced and now it's working;). Thanks

  , but why was the external power supply screw terminal removed? This just causes trouble for me, if I want to run this in my car. Now I have to find a barrel connector.

  The spec is (5.5×2.1mm, outer pin -).

  I also really want to use the screw terminal. Instead of wiring a barrel connector, can I attach a screw terminal to the board? Do you have the spec for them?

  There's still a screw terminal there, just on the other side.
