Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing some audio problems after upgrading my system to LibreELEC 12.0.2. I’ve been using a Raspberry Pi 4 with a Hifiberry DAC+ and LibreELEC for a couple of years with no issues, but since the upgrade, the sound quality has degraded unexpectedly.
Here’s what I’m noticing:
• The audio now sounds slightly off — as if it were a poorly compressed audio file.
• There’s an intermittent stereo channel issue. For example, during dialogue in movies, the left channel sometimes kicks in/gets louder abruptly in the middle of a sentence, which is not how it’s supposed to work.
I haven’t changed any hardware configurations, and the config.txt still uses the line: `dtoverlay=hifiberry-dacplus`
Given that the problem appeared immediately after the LibreELEC upgrade, I suspect it might be related to driver changes or configuration updates. Has anyone experienced similar issues or noticed any critical changes in LibreELEC 12 that might affect my setup?
I’d really appreciate any tips or debugging steps to help resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance for your help!
