Today I wanted to setup my new HifiBerry Amp 4 Pro in combination with two older B&W speakers.
Installation of HifiBerryOS on a Raspberry pi 4 worked without any issues - including Wifi setup. I can connect my iPhone via Bluetooth, or Airplay and even the album cover will be shown. Everything looks nice so far except of one thing:
there is no sound at all!
What could possibly be wrong here?
small update: the system information are saying that it's a DAC+ Pro. Shouldn't it say Amp 4 Pro?
According to the checklist all tries to change the /boot/config.txt to hifiberry-amp4pro will be ignored and changed back after reboot.
You need to use HBOS64

A hint on the website really would have saved valuable time. HBOS64 is really far away from being beta, or something near final. Setup only works with a big display, AirPlay is fragile like hell. Actually I'm not sure if it's suitable for my use case.
On the plus side it's really amazing what this tiny piece of silicon is capable of.
