Issue:
DSP won't keep its saved profile 14 when the HiFiBerryOS is powered down safely.
How to Create the Issue:
Download DAC+DSP Universal Version 14 and store sound adjustments to DSP. When it's fully powered off, the DSP loses its profile. I have the jumper on the board currently. Reboot keeps the profile.
System Specs:
HiFiBerryOS Version: 20230404
Pi type: 4
Model Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.1
To check the DSP program run
/opt/hifiberry/bin/dsptoolkit check-eeprom
/opt/hifiberry/bin/dsptoolkit get-checksum
Then turn off/on your system and do it again. It should report the same checksum
# dsptoolkit check-eeprom
EEPROM content matches running profile, checksum D812F7B055A91F8A4C59F64E553EF00F
# dsptoolkit get-checksum
D812F7B055A91F8A4C59F64E553EF00F
It reverted back again. but with the same checksum numbers. from before shutting down and after
This shows that te DSP does not loose it's profile. Why do you think it does?
The output sound is always muted until I upload the profile. volume doesn't work, nor does any sound.
when i mean volume, it doesnt go up or down on the slider on the web GUI, which is controlled though my LG TV, ive had a beocreate for 3 years with no issues
This can be caused by other issues as the DSP profile seems to be just fine on the DSP.
First check if the volume control can be found on the DSP program
/opt/hifiberry/bin/dsptoolkit get-volume
Do you only have a problem withsound from your TV or also from the Pi?

Uploaded profile
# dsptoolkit get-volume
Volume: 0.0240 / 46% / -32db
yes both Pi like spotify and optical
anything else I can do.. or could you see on your side of things? its just a PI3 with HifiberryOS and your HAT with profile 14 loaded on.
