Just bought this new amp. Have used Amp2 & Amp3 up until now.

Have also installed Hifiberry-OS64 in order to get support for the new amp. Problem is I'm a DLNA user and I can see that DLNA service is not supported.

Had I known this I wouldn't have bought the Amp4pro. Will the DLNA service be added to Hifiberry-OS64 ?

If not, then I suggest yo update the product details to say that the amp4pro can't be used with DLNA.

I'll just have to sell it on secondhand. Very disappointed customer now after being a very satisfied customer for the last few years !

None of our hardware "supports" DLNA. That's a HiFiBerryOS feature and it has nothing to do with the Amp4 Pro.
We can't guarantee any specific features of HiFiBerryOS. Some feature might be added, others might be removed in the future.

However, if you feel that HiFiBerryOS doesn't offer the features you need, there are plenty of other music player distributions around that you can use. You don't have to use HiFiBerryOS, it just a piece of software we give away for free.

BTW: DLNA will probably be added again in the future, but we can't commit a specific date.

I've managed to get the amp4pro working with Volumio after transferring the hifiberry-amp4pro.dtbo file from the HIFIBberryOS64 image over to the latest Volumio build and setting the dtoverlay.

I'll be back using HIFIBerryOS when/if DLNA is added, as it is my favoured option.
