HifiBerryOS64 + Rotary Controller

Today I switched from last years HifiBerryOS Version of April to the new HifiBerryOS64 Alpha8 due to massive disconnection problems with Airplay.

I wanted to get my Rotary to work as I had it before. But it does not seem to work. Do I have to do something special with HifiberryOS64?

I edited /etc/audiocontrol2.conf: matching to my pin selection 

[controller:ac2.plugins.control.rotary.Rotary]    

clk = 23                                          

dt = 24                                           

sw = 25                                           

step = 5

  it might be a bug as the GPIO module had to be replaced.

  Check the logs of audio control:

  journalctl -u audiocontrol2

  It says "No Entries"

  restart it first, then run journalctl again

  systemctl restart audiocontrol2; journalctl -u audiocontrol2
  
  There should definitely be some messages.

  Thx. Okay there it is it is looking probably for the old rpi.gpio?

  Looks like the plugin has to be rewritten for the new APIs. We'll look into this at some point. I recommend to post a bug report here:
  https://github.com/hifiberry/hifiberry-os/issues
