New Pi 3, DAC+, Rasbian Jessie and no sound

The title says it. Today, got a Pi 3 B, a DAC+, set up a fresh install of Rasbian Jessie, followed the guide to setup for Linux 4.X, everything seemed to go great, but haven't been able to get any sound.

Have tried mplayer and mpd. mplayer was complaining about no simple control, Master... but I set it's mixer-channel to "Digital" and it stopped complaining, but still no sound.
