I would like to use the bluetooth feature of the pi3 to control the audio from my phone, but I can't seem to get bluetooth working using the hifiberry installer version of raspbian. If I try to run an update (to get the new bluetooth tools), the OS will not load and I have to re-flash the SD card. I tried installing Bluez manually, but I get a message saying there is no controller available.
I also tried using raspbian directly from raspberrypi.org, but no matter what I do, I cannot get audio out of the hifiberry.
I'd love to try OSMC or pi music box, but they aren't compatible with pi3. I tried running OSMC from their website, but again, I cannot get it to recognize the hifiberry. I've tried blacklisting, discovering the soundcard, etc...nothing seems to work.
