i want to place the hifiberry somewhere else away from the raspberry. is it possible to wire it to the raspberry and how can we do this ? or do we need to put it on top of the raspberry ? And is it possible to extend the ports to another location ? what about sound quality then ?
While it might work, we can't guarantee this. You will need a 40pin flat ribbon cable. However, I would not recommend this. If you need the external connector at another place, solder wires parallel to the RCA output. Keep the cables as short as possible.
