I have the hifiberry amp+ attached to my raspberry pi 2 B but i get no output. Setup as follows: In OSMC soundcard overlay menu i selected hifiberry-dac-overlay. Then in the Systems menu I go to audio output and selected ALSA:Defalt(snd_rpi_hifiberry_dac Analog)...Reboot pi , got to music but no sound out the speakers?? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

You have configrued the wrong driver. You need to use the hifiberry-amp driver, not the hifiberry-dac driver in config.txt

Thank you for your prompt response. I do not see that driver in the osmc set up menu. There are only three to choose from and non of them hifiberry amp.Are there step by step instructions i could find to help me through it? Sorry a newbe to all this.

How did you install OSMC? Did you use our installer? If yes, then you most likely selected the wrong sound card before the installation.

No I installed OSMC from the raspberry pi site. That could be my problem. Which one do i select from your site? That will solve my ptoblem. Thanks.

You can also edit /boot/config.txt by hand, but as a newbie, the installer is usually easier to use.
