The last word isn't spoken about the passepartouts around the Display and the Amp.
Also I have problems with openelec, because it doesn't recognize the Edimax WLan dongle.
But via Ethernet everything works fine.
Hello.
I have solved the problem with the WiFi and Bluetooth dongle. It seems, that the USB extensions steal some power of the USB power.
And the EdiMax and Bluetooth dongle needs more power than a keyboard e.g..
So I connected the dongles directly to the RasPi USB sockets and everything works fine.
I made new passepartouts. One is a Brass plate, the other an Aluminium plate.
$25 together, first I want use copper plate, but I could buy another RasPi with HiFiBerry for the costs. Expensive shit. ;-)
Here some photos:
No problem for the HiFiBerryCube, to play 24Bit/192kHz files.
For operations I use an Apple BlueTooth keyboard and an iPad with Kyra. (2,5mm brass plate)
6mm Aluminium plate
I`ve learned, that I need a good workshop and some machines, if I want to produce good quality work. A router, a band saw and a belt grinder would be great help. But I don't have the place for a workshop. So everything is handiwork with saw, file, drill.
The HD and the RasPi are fixed with hook-and-pile tape. The screws for fixing the display are glued with superglue.
