Is it possible to set a fixed Max Volume? I know I can control the volume in alsamixer(which works if I only stream from Airplay), but using hardware volume with all the apps and web UI's I use controls this directly, which means that if I by accident slide the volume bar to 100% the sound is VERY LOUD and distorted.
I want to set a fixed value that cannot be bypassed even with hardware volume. So when I crank it up to 100% it is still tolerable and won't destroy both ears and system.
My setup is: rpi2 b+ and hifiberry amp+ running rune audio with working hardware volume.
