Issue started where some files would playback properly in VLC PiBv1 without the AMP+ but not on the Pi2Bv2 with AMP+ 1.0. Only output is a faint buzz, stops as soon as playback ends. Tried in mplayer, exactly the same results as vlc. At some point when flipping around with different files, something breaks completely and known good files won't play either.
Found this thread to try changing the sample rate, https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=7107
And adding -srate 48000 does indeed resolve the issue immediately with mplayer.
What is the correct way to permanently fix this issue so VLC functions properly?
Snips from the mplayer run on the problem file:
Doesn't work: AO: [alsa] 32000Hz 2ch s16le (2 bytes per sample)
Works: AO: [alsa] 48000Hz 2ch s16le (2 bytes per sample)
