I recently replaced a Pimoroni Phat Dac hat with a HifiBerry Dac2 Pro on my Rpi 4 which runs the latest OSMC. I was having a hard time playing music until I realized sound was coming out, just very low as I had my speakers hooked to it using the AUX input on the HifiBerry which connects to RCA on my self powered speakers (same setup I had with the PhatDac)
Switched to RCA on the HiFiBerry (making it both RCA on HifiBerry and RCA on my speakers) and that took care of the super low volume. I get quite a powerful output sound now, actually.
Is there a way to raise the output volume on the AUX? AND, is it okay to leave the PhatDac's package in OSMC or should I uninstall it? I wonder if PhatDac´s package has anything to do with low volume through HifiBerry's AUX.
Thank you!
