Is there a way (or a plan) to get HifiBerry supported in a Raspberry Pi Android distribution? At the minute there are no way to get a HifiBerry running with Android (Banana Pi and equivalent are not supported by HifiBerry as far as I know).

This is not supported as Android isn't using the standard Linux kernel. Currently we have no plans to work on this.

Is there any news regarding HifiBerry and Android? As DAB+ is not really good working with Rasbian I tested Emteria Android for that purpose. And its really good. Now only the support for my HifiBerry is missing there. It would be nice to have the ability to play the sound with the HifiBerry DAC+ when using Andoid as OS.

It's not about how many people you can find. Android on the Raspberry Pi uses its own kernel and it would need a lot of reverse-engineering and porting drivers - including low-level CPU drivers. We don't have the resources for this.
