Hifiberry DAC, Raspberry Pi 1 and OpenELEC: amixer doesn't work

Hello everyone,

I have a Hifiberry DAC, Raspberry Pi 1 and I want to use OpenELEC. I've followed the instructions of the Guide "Configuring OpenElec 5". I tried the version "Configuring the sound card in OpenElec using module configuration." with OpenELEC 5.0.8 and the version "Configuring the sound card in OpenElec using device-tree-overlays." with OpenELEC 5.95.5.

Both versions worked, what means I can play music on my Hifiberry DAC. But I can not set the volume with amixer. Sometimes the sound is distorted. The output of "amixer -c 0 set Digital 80%" is

amixer: Unable to find simple control 'Digital',0

The output of "amixer -c 0 set PCM 80%" is

amixer: Unable to find simple control 'PCM',0

If I type "aplay -l", the output is:

**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: sndrpihifiberry [snd_rpi_hifiberry_dac], device 0: HifiBerry DAC HiFi pcm5102a-hifi-0 []
Subdevices: 0/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

I think thats fine. But the output of "amixer info" is:

Card default 'sndrpihifiberry'/'snd_rpi_hifiberry_dac'
Mixer name : ''
Components : ''
Controls : 0
Simple ctrls : 0

Does somebody know how to set the volume?

Thanks,

MeB
