I have built an Internet radio around the PiFace CAD, and I am interested in upgrading it to use a proper amplifier. I would like to use both a HiFiBerry DAC and PiFace CAD (http://www.piface.org.uk/products/piface_control_and_display/) with a Raspberry Pi B+. Is this possible? If so, what parts would I need to purchase?
If this is possible, I am also interested in advice on obtaining a case for the device. Obviously, the requirements for such a case would be a bit specific, as the PiFace CAD contains both a display and input buttons.

HiFiBerry team Hi Flyn,
there might be several issues with this combination:
1. I don't know what GPIOs this card uses. You can see the GPIOs uses by the Amp+ here:
https://www.hifiberry.com/guides/gpio-usage-of-the-hifiberry-products/
2. Mechanically it might also be a problem as some parts of the Amp+ are quite high and you might not be able to stack the 2 boards. However you might be able to solder the PiFace with cables.
There is no case that will fit both boards.
While it might be possible to work around those issues, it is not a beginners project and it won't be plug-and-play.
You might check out the "Your HiFiBerry installation" section of the forum (https://www.hifiberry.com/forums/forum/your-hifiberry-installation/ ) as there are some user projects that also include LCD displays and buttons. However, afaik none of this is using the PiFace board.
Best regards
Daniel
