Installed AMP+ last weekend with PiCorePlayer and all working perfectly. This morning, while playing, it suddenly stopped and now the only sound is a very quiet, un-amplified, tinny sound of the stream. It sounds like the sound is 'passing through' and not being amp'd.
I have rebooted Pi/AMP by removing power and I have removed Amp board and reseated but still have the problem.
Any Ideas? - Fault Amp?

HiFiBerry team Hi Scott,
this is hard to say. As piCorePlayer does not have many tools installed, it is hard to debug there. Check if the Amplifier is still configured as output device.
Try to use our Raspbian image with auto-detection and run
amixer
play -n synth sine 1000
This should output a loud sine wave.
Best regards

Scott Rennie Thanks Daniel, I'll try that this evening. -
Scott Rennie Hi Daniel
Sorry to cast aspersions on your excellent AMP - turned out to be the speaker - no bass driver... I'm running the Powering the Mono amp from the one side of the Amp - any chance that could blow the speaker? It's Rated at 5-50W / 8 Ohms
Cheers

HiFiBerry team Hi Scott,
no, using only a single output is no problem.
Best regards
Daniel
