Hi all,
i am building a mobile sound box with raspberry and amp+.
Streaming audio by wifi works fine.
I would like to have a line in jack to connect an mp3 player or a cellphone.
I use a cheap usb soundcard. Both are recognised correctly.
Now i need a way to link the line in of the usb soundcard to the amp+. Maybe this is possible with jackd? Are there any how-to's?
greetings

Joolee If you are looking for a cheap and small solution, you might take a look at: http://blog.koalo.de/2013/05/i2s-support-for-raspberry-pi.html but you say you already have a soundcard. The routing itself seems to be possible directly, by using alsa or indirectly, by using jack or pulseaudio. Take a look at https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=64567
* I don't have any experience with linux and audio but I'm looking into it because I want the same thing as you, with the option to choose between line-in, bluetooth and shairport :P
