Small solution for volume controll with a rotary encoder

Hi,
i search a sample, how i implement a hardware volume control with a rotary encoder in volumio.
My examples with teh encoder with rotary_class.py works in phyton.
But i need help for implement this in volumio. (How i started a program in background ?)

You don't need to program it yourself. There is a Volumio 2 plugin to configure two simple rotary encoders.
