Hello!
Im looking into extending the RCA connectors in to my custom build. But i am fairly new to the game(I know soldering well) but I need some advice. Firstly any recommendation before i start?
The DAC + has 3 soldering spots, + - ground which one is what (just want to be really sure) According to some guides, ground should be connected or coupled rather with - on the other RCA end.
Cable wise - When extending the length what cable type is usually recommended when it comes to audio? Will a ordinary signal cable do the job or do i need a shielded cable?
thanks!

HiFiBerry team The L/GND/R pins can be used to connect a cable. Keep it short then there is no need for shielding. If you're not sure, use a shielded cable.
Note that soldering onto the board voids the warranty (usually not a problem, but we have seen people that damaged their boards).
Best regards
Daniel
