Hello,
I've just received my Amp+ and before doing anything stupid, I'd have some questions :
I've this PSU laying around (http://eu.coolermaster.com/fr/mobile/mobile-power/na90/) which is 19V / 4,74A as I'm not really familiar with this technical value, I'd rather ask if it'd work with the Amp+ or if it's too much ?
If it's too powerful, what kind of feature should I look for when buying a dedicated PSU ?
If I add a power off switch, should I add it near the outlet or between the PSU & Pi. Is there any risk powering off the system / amp suddenly ?

HiFiBerry team Hi Quentin,
19V is near the limit of the circuit. We it might still work, we recommend 18V max. An 18V/3A power supply (more Ampere are not a problem) or 12V/3A power supply is recommended.
I would add the power switch on the mains side (between outlet and power supply). Shutting down the Raspberry Pi by just powering down always has a minimal risk of file system corruption. However in reality this works usually very well.
Best regards
Daniel
