Does Hifiberry benefit from is own power supply ?

Hello there,

I've set up a Rapsberry Pi 2 with the hifiberry DAC+, and I'm wondering if it's interesting, from the quality of sound perspective, to use a separate power supply for the DAC+. Does someone use such a configuration ? Is it better ?

  Hi Arnaud,
  
  without modifications on the board, you can't use a separate power supply for the DAC. I recommend using a good quality power supply for the Raspberry Pi and the DAC together.
