What power supply to Amp/RPi?

I don't get it.. it says 12-18V is recommended (A not specified) connecting directly to the Amp unit

and it also says that no micro-USB power is needed to the RPi itself.

Yet - a 5V/2A micro-USB powersupply is recommended
https://www.hifiberry.com/product/power-supply-5v2a-eu-plug/


So as I understand it I can use either
1) 12-18V directly to Amp (but how many A ??)
2) 5V/2A directly to RPi, no powersupply needed to Amp


A little confusing I must say!

  It looks like out shopping system is doing some automatic recommendation that are wrong. I have to check how we can fix this.
  A 5V/2A power supply is not needed fot the Amp, just a single 12-18V external power supply.
