Sorry if information has been posted about this already, I could not find it.

Does Amp play nice with Pi 2?

I was planning on building a high quality music player/radio for my girlfriend for valentines and I only have a Pi 1 Model B.

I was thinking about buying a Pi 2 Model B, Hifiberry Amp, psu and a couple of nice speakers, 3D printing a case and shove everything inside. But I can't for the life if me find out if AMP / volumio has Pi 2 support.
(pi, amp, psu, speakers is enough right?).

I'm totally new at this... since it's going to be portable It's not going to have the most amazing speakers, but I want to give her something nice.

  Yes it perfectly plays with the Pi 2. However if you want it to be portable, I would go for the A+ as it consumes less energy and most likely you won't need the additional computing power of the 2B.

  A colleague of mine is selling his B+ because he's upgrading his media center to a Pi 2 B.
  
  I'm planning on having it cabled and doing this:
  
  Pi B+
  Amp+
  Meanwell GS60A18-P1J
  2x medium range full tone speakers
  3d printed enclosure
  Volumio software
  
  This should be enough for a cabled radio/music player yes? Do spacers come with the amp+ or will I need to buy additional spacers/pin headers and so on?
  
  I'm held back by the power supply being out of stock and I'll need to buy it soon if it is to arrive in Denmark in time for valentines... :)
  
  PS: would be nice if the Mean Well specs were added. Like cable type (normal computer three prong?) and output polarity and plug type (pin/no pin, is the center positive and the ring negative and so on).

  Hi Eirinn,
  
  we have tested the Meanwell power supply last week, but just placed the order for these. This means it will still take some time until we have it on stock. Unfortunately this won't be in the next week.
