I'm not able to get sound out of my amp+. Looking at forum posts, common problem has been using dac drivers for the dac+. I wasn't able to find amp+ drivers so I'm using the amp drivers (described at https://www.hifiberry.com/guides/hifiberry-software-configuration).
Could this be my problem? If so, then what should I use for the amp+?

ae2 The problem seems to be my test file. I have a wav file that worked on the Pi's internal sound (using mplayer). I assumed the same file would play through the Amp+. Finally I tried a different test file (a flac from a cd) and got sound.
So, things seem to work.
I used the same modules as described for the old Amp. -
HiFiBerry team Hmm, using mplayer this should be no problem. What was the sample rate, bit depth and file format of this file?
Enjoy your sound!

ae2 pi2 ~ $ file test.wav
test.wav: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, Microsoft PCM, 16 bit, stereo 11025 Hz
I downloaded it from:

HiFiBerry team Ok, I see the problem here. The file had a sample rate < 44.1kHz, which is not supported by the Amp.
Best regards

ae2 BTW, might be a good idea to update the config page (linked above) to say "Amp & Amp+". I eventually found another forum post with the same answer, but only after I had found out by trial and error.
My amp works great though, I'm listening to it now. -
HiFiBerry team Thank you for the feedback. We have corrected this.
Best regards
Daniel
