Power Supply

Hi there,
My beta amp has finally arrived (South African post is another story!)
I have a spare 12v 1.5A power supply - is this sufficient? I see a mention of 12-18v but not sure what amperage it needs. Also is it a centre pin positive?

  Hi,
  
  12V should be good. You only need 18V if you need the extra power. The Amp performs best at high volume. Therefore it might be even better to use 12V at full volume than 18V and reduce the output volume.

  does the amp also works with 24V 1,3A or is it too much?

  24V is definitely too much and will destroy the Amp+. Voltage range is 12-18V.
