Hi-FiBerry crew (hohoho)
I am looking to get away without developing a DAC for pi, for a proof-of-concept project I am planning.
This project would ideally run on a pair of raspberry pis, passing audio over IP (only because I already have 2 Pis, and no beaglebones).
I aim to have 2 channels of audio in and out, so I plan to split left and right channels.
Does the Hifiberry DAC work using two separate channels of input?
Also
Before I invest in a pair of Hifiberry DACs, has anyone come up with a solution for XLR output (a symmetrical output)?
I know there was a previous similar topic, but it was pretty vacant.
Cheers
Simon

HiFiBerry team Hi Simon,
the DAC does not have an input, it is an output-only device. Or what do you mean wth "separate channels of input"?
XLR ouput can be implemented by adding a symmetrical line driver like the DRV134. However this has to be done on a separate board.
Best regards
Daniel
