Hello! Was just about to order a Hifiberry DAC, but noticed that it doesn't work on the Raspberry Pi B+. Oh no!
I can't tell from the News section when your posts were made (date isn't displayed) but the third oldest one says "we think we can finalize the design and the drivers in the next weeks".
Also this one suggests that the B+ still benefits from a HifiBerry soundcard, but also mentions such a product is not available: http://www.hifiberry.com/2014/07/why-your-new-raspberry-pi-b-still-needs-a-hifiberry-sound-card/
Any ideas when it's going to be ready? :)

HiFiBerry team We expect to test the final prototype next week. After this we can confirm a shipping date.
I recommend joining our mailing list http://www.hifiberry.com/about-us/mailing-list/ to get information when new products are available.
Best regards

merle Hello there,
my question concerning the new DAC for the B+ model would be:
Does it give me any advantages to go for the B+ model?
I am planning to build an audio player only with a raspberry, hifiberry and volumio. i do not need additional USB ports.
Are there other reasons why I should not go with the old model?
Best regards

HiFiBerry team Hi Merle,
the will be one new feature of the new model: integrated volume control. Another change is that the new model does not need soldering on the Raspbverry Pi anymore. If you use the volume control in your Amp, you can go with the old model.
Best regards
Daniel
