Hello,
I've looked through the other threads and have not seen the answer for my question. My hifiberry DAC seems to be getting noticed.
However It's coming up as card 1 instead of card zero
aplay -l shows this:
****List of PLAYBACK Hardware devices ****
card 0: ALSA[bcm2835 ALSA], device 0: bcm2835 ALSA [bcm2835 ALSA]
Subdevices: 8/8
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
Subdevice #1: subdevice #1
Subdevice #2: subdevice #2
Subdevice #3: subdevice #3
Subdevice #4: subdevice #4
Subdevice #5: subdevice #5
Subdevice #6: subdevice #6
Subdevice #7: subdevice #7
card 0: ALSA [bcm2835 ALSA], device 1: bcm2835 ALSA [bcm2835 IEC958/HDMI]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: sndrpihifiberry [snd_rpi_hifiberry_dac], device 0: HifiBerry DAC HiFi pcm5102a-hifi-0 []
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
When I run the check-system script, there don't appear to be any errors, but I am getting no output from the DAC.
I appreciate any help or suggestions in this matter. Thanks a lot for making this device. I've seen a lot of people getting theirs to work and also the speed with which you respond to everyone's problems, so I'm sure it's not a problem with the DAC, but more likely a problem with something I did.
Thanks,
Alex

HiFiBerry team Hi,
just remove the bcm2835 from /etc/modules and reboot.
Best regards
Daniel
