HiFiBerry team Hi Anders,
First to make sure: You're using the DAC, not the Digi - right?
Do you have another Raspberry? We've heard about rare cases were the P5 connection on the Raspberry Pi itself was broken.
If the connection on the P5 headers are good, it should work. All boards are tested before shipping. While a hardware defect is unlikely it is still possible. To check this, we need to get the DAC board back. We will test it here.
Best regards

anders_landgren Hi Daniel
First of all: thanks for your quick reply.
I went over to a friends place yesterday and - the Hifiberry worked perfectly on his Pi! (Carrying the entire OS and all settings on a SD card isn't such a bad idea...;-) )
Went home and examined my own Raspberry. Measured all PCB traces from P5, and found a broken one. The surgeon must have been there with a scalpel, cause the crack - or cut rather - could only be seen with a magnifying glass. A small solder bridge solved the issue, and then the Hifiberry streamed music from my NAS all night long.
So, my mistake. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, and congratulations to putting a brilliant Pi accessory on the market!
Best regards
Anders
