I like to experiment with microwave Doppler for motions such as breathing. I need to see frequencies less than a few Hz.
How low will the HiFiBerry AtoD go?

HiFiBerry team Are you looking for an ADC or a DAC? While in general the DAC works down to 0 Hz, it is not optimized for this use case and the frequency response might not be optimal in this frequency range.
Best regards

Walter Clark I'd like to know how low an audio frequency can get through your AtoD and then into my spectrum analyzer. I'm looking for an ADC that has a rather large front end capacitor or a direct connection to the digitizer.

Anton Hi Walter,
we do not have any ADC, only DACs. Sorry, I guess we can't help yo further.
Best wishes,
Anton

Walter Clark Anton,
Oh sorry. I thought it was a sound card replacement. Maybe that's in your future.
But, I have another project which does need only a DAC. That is a small, no monitor, no keyboard, no mouse Internet radio. Do you know of an app which is more reliable than VLC ? -
Anton Yes, all our boards have "only" outputs: The different versions of the DAC+ have analogue out, the Digi+ digital out, and the Amp+ has already an amplifier, so you can connect passive speakers directly.
For the internet radio, probably Volumio would be a nice solution for you. You can install it completely configured using our installer (http://support.hifiberry.com/hc/en-us/articles/205389831-HiFiBerry-installer). You can control it via a web browser or an app in the same wifi/LAN network, no need for any keyboard or monitor.
Similar like Volumio is RuneAudio, both should work fine.
