Cases made from oak faced MDF.
- Pi B rev 2 512MB
- Hifiberry DAC
- 16mm vandal proof switches from eBay (horrible things, get the 19mm and get the complimenting harnesses to go with them).
- TPA3116 class D amplifier board (WLX board aka Breeze audio).
- Various sockets, wires and stuff from around the world, mainly China via eBay.
To do....
- Implement "Pi shutdown request" on the unconnected button on the front of the pi box.
- On the amp; Find space for BUCK and wires to illuminate LCD on switch when muted.
- Paint exposed MDF and finish pi backplane properly (it's a mess).
- Find/fit feet or come up with some arty way of stacking them.

HiFiBerry team Let's attach a picture of your cool device here:
This looks very nice. Didn't you think about using the HiFiBerry Amp? -
vindaloo Hi Danial,
Let's see if this works....
Not using the Hifiberry amp... Most of what I've seen regarding the amp HATs seems to be mobile audio or near-field usage (computer speakers) or maybe small room with bookshelf speakers. I had a worry about power levels required to drive my speakers (Tannoy E11s) in the lounge. Some of that worry has gone after experiencing how much the TPA3116 offers compared to my previous Arcam Alpha (1989 vintage!). -
vindaloo OK, it didn't work.... Will try other hosting for the photos. -
vindaloo Try again...

HiFiBerry team Seems, that the dropbox image links change automatically :( Unfortunately our current forum software does not have a feature to upload images :( -
