No Soundcard after adding new user

Hey,

I have Amp+ and i am using the test image from Hifiberry, which has autodetection. I can see the soundcard for default user "pi". However, I haved added another user and when I login to this new user, there is no soundcard.

Can you tell me what changed do I have to make, so that the soundcard is also visible to users other than "pi"?

  Hi,
  
  the test image does not automatically detect the HiFiBerry Amp, it has only detection for the DAC+ and Digi(+).
  You need to configure the Amp by hand. Our try our installer:
  http://downloads.hifiberry.com/HiFiBerry_Installer.exe
  http://downloads.hifiberry.com/HiFiBerry_Installer.dmg
  
  Note that the installer is still in development, therefore it is possible that there are still bugs.

  I solved my problem by adding the user to audio group.
  sudo usermod -G audio <userName>

  Thanks for the feedback. Was the Amp+ automatically detected or did you modify config.txt?

  Amp+ was automatically detected :)
  Although i also checked config.txt manually.
