Greetings from Sweden,
Installation of the AMP+ to my Raspberry Pi 2 not a problem, installing Volumio and setting up the drivers, not a problem. Sounds excellent and clear.... and very, very loud. This installation is for my kitchen, listnening to news and background music while cooking, so being able to play load is not the plan.
Question: Is there a way to lower the max output of the AMP+?
When playing over Airplay the volume is hard to set as the (iPhone) control is very sensitive. I guess a third of the maximum volume would suite my needs better.
Kind regards

HiFiBerry team Hi,
you can reduce the volume using "amixer" from the command line.
Just try
amixer sset Master 70%

Bengt Erson Ok Daniel, sounds like a plan. Now, is there a guide for how to get to there. I am a mac user however not totally lost in the terminal, just need a pointer on where to start.

HiFiBerry team Here is a guide how to login using SSH:
https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/remote-access/ssh/
Volumio username/password are here:
https://volumio.org/forum/ssl-root-password-t30.html
I'm not sure, if they are still ok for the current Volumio version, otherwise you might ask in the Volumio forum.
Best regards
Daniel
