Hi,
I was wondering if there is a possibility to utilize GPIO 7 and 8 used by the ATXRaspi with the AMP+ ? Are the GPIOs stackable with the AMP+ ?
Thanks in advance,

Zixwater I dont know if I was unclear but was talking about the Raspberry Pi 2 and is AMP+ using all GPIO´s or are the GPIO used by ATXRaspi free to be stacked on the AMP+ or perhaps connected parallell with the AMP+ ?
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,

HiFiBerry team Hi,
the GPIOs are not stackable. You need to solder cables onto the Amp for this (note this this voids warranty).
For the GPIO usage check out this page:

Dan Sherwood Hi all, first time posting to the site:
Just to clarify what it says on that page, it looks like only pins 2-3, 18-21 are used by the amp.
Despite voiding the warranty, this would mean someone could solder onto pins 7&8 of the amp and it would function as a pass-through to the RPi 2, correct?
Thanks again for all your help!
Cheers,

HiFiBerry team Hi Dan,
it is GIOP 2-3 and 18-21, NOT the pin 2-3 and 18-21. Check out the GPIO to pin mapping, e.g. here: http://pi.gadgetoid.com/pinout

Zixwater Hi again Daniel,
Might I question what you mean with GPIO 28-31, since I cannot for certain find any GPIO layout which shows which pin nr corresponds to GPIO 28-31 =) GPIO 2 and 3 i have found.

HiFiBerry team Hi,
it is GPIO18-21 not 28-31. On the web page linked above these are named BCM18-BCM21

Zixwater .. And then i must apoligize for the misunderstanding on my behalf =) I dont know where i got 28-31 from! However one more question, sorry if its a stupid one, is the GPIO form RPi equally mapped regarding female connector on the AMP+?

HiFiBerry team Yes, it is.
