Yesterday I compared HifiBerry Amt with other DAC + Amp. I was surprised that HifiBerry Amp sounded SO different. It sounded flat, without proper bosses. I did not find any complains about quality of the sound on the Internet. This made me think that may be I am missing something:
-> Do I need to perform Amp "burn-in" for some time?
-> Is there a build-in equalizer I should tune?

HiFiBerry team Hi Andrej,
there is no burn-in needed. The frequency response of the Amp is flat. Your other Amp might have a slight bass boost.
While there is no build-in equaliser, you can try to use alsaequal. This allows to implement an equalizer in software:
