Hey guys I'm new on the forum and I got a problem I can't solved by myself on my raspi b+ running Openelec 5.0.5
Got a problem to make my hifiberry dac + soundcard detected
i added both of those lines in at the end config.txt:
dtoverlay=hifiberry-dacplus
dtdebug=1
aplay-l gives me : aplay: device_list:268: no soundcards found

HiFiBerry team Looks like the device-tree bug still isn't fixed on OpenElec. I guess this is OpenElec for the old Raspberry Pi?
If yes, you need to configure the Digi like in Linux 3.12 (https://www.hifiberry.com/guides/hifiberry-software-configuration/). I hope they will fix this soon.

HiFiBerry team Yes, configure the modules file. I don't think, asound.conf is needed for OpenElec.

Christos Tsaligopoulos Openelec 506. Same problem for me also! Etc/modules has only a read me file..
Added asound.conf as above but still no soundcards found.
Your preconfigured image also fails to load. I have raspberry pi2.
Any suggestions?
