Hifiberry DAC with Raspberry Pi B+?

What is the main difference between the DAC and the DAC+? Is it the formfactor and the additional EEPROM module?
Is it possible to use the DAC on a Pi+ since I connected all the neccesary lines to the board?
You can find the changes needed here: http://www.tjaekel.com/T-DAC/files/RPi-Bplus_guideline.pdf

The Problem is that I fried my B and now have to use a B+. I wired it up and connected it but there is no sound :(

Also, what is the difference between the DAC and the DAC+ driver? Im using the newest volumio with updated kernel and upgraded software.

Here is my aplay output:
root@volumio:~# aplay -l
