Hi there
Have now got my first attempt at a Hifiberry amp+ working and have put in a pair of Kef Ci50R speakers.. as I was expecting the sound from these little drivers is lacking base.
So, although I might migrate these to my bathroom at some point I'm thinking about how to add some bass.
Would I be able to add a bass woofer to one of the speaker outputs, or would this be a bad idea? .. is there ANY equalisation available on the amp?
Maybe the solution is only new (larger) speakers but thought I'd ask opinions here first

HiFiBerry team For equalization, you can use the alsaequal plugin (http://www.thedigitalmachine.net/alsaequal.html)
Adding a bass in parallel to the existing speakers is most likely a bad idea as the impedance will drop below 4 Ohm (except if your spekaers are 8 Ohm speakers and the bass is also).
Best regards
Daniel
