Hi,
I have a DAC and Amp that I purchase a while ago and no longer have a model B pi. Our local supplier no longer stocks them either. Is there anyway to modify either the DAC or amp to fit either the b+ or pi 2? I know the pinouts don't match but wondering if I could wire the correct pins to each other? Otherwise I have them just sitting here gathering dust....!

HiFiBerry team Hi Rob,
this is not something that is supported by us. There are still a lot of dealers that have the older Raspberry Pi available, e.g. Kiwi:

Rob Gardner Hi Daniel, I fully understand that its not something you can support, just asking whether its technically possible ie if the DAC and DAC + etc have the same input pins just inna different layout, or if the DAC board is built completely differently. I have nothing to loose by playing around if I at least know its possible in theory ....
Thanks guys -
HiFiBerry team In theory it might work, but we won't provide pinouts or further information for this. You risk to damage the board. Therefore I strongly recommend to use the old Raspberry Pi.
Best regards
Daniel
