Hi,
I am using the combination of a PiB+, DAC+ and PiCorePlayer software for a couple of weeks now and enjoy it a great deal. I even replaced a Squeezebox Touch to make room for this combination.
However, since a couple of days I notice some faint clicks between every track I play. These tracks come from my own music collection. For the life of me I cannot remember if these clicks were there when I first started using the DAC+, but they are there now. There is no difference between playing mp3 or flac files, the clicks are there for both formats. On my other Squeeze devices they cannot be heard. Also when switching the Pi player on and off I hear clicks. Also not sure if these were there before.
Is this something I have to live with, or did I misconfigure / break something?
Regards,
Paul

HiFiBerry team Hi Paul,
I don't think you broke something. I guess the playback software introduces these clicks. The DAC itself has no idea about tracks or files. It just receives a stream of data from the player software. And it looks like the transition between different files is not handled optimal by the playback software in your case. However I can't tell how to fix this. Maybe one of the Squeezebox users here has an idea what to do.
Best regards

paul5 Hi Daniel,
You are probably right, I never hear anything strange in the midst of tracks, only at the beginning / end. I tested this also with audio from Spotify and there the same clicks can be heard between songs. I'll see if I can find anything related to LMS that might cause this and let you know if I find a solution.
Thanks for the support,
Paul
