Music sound still comes from original audio jack of pi

I following the simple guide at http://www.hifiberry.com/guides/hifiberry-software-configuration/

pi@raspberrypi ~ $ aplay -l
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: ALSA [bcm2835 ALSA], device 0: bcm2835 ALSA [bcm2835 ALSA]
Subdevices: 8/8
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
Subdevice #1: subdevice #1
Subdevice #2: subdevice #2
Subdevice #3: subdevice #3
Subdevice #4: subdevice #4
Subdevice #5: subdevice #5
Subdevice #6: subdevice #6
Subdevice #7: subdevice #7
card 0: ALSA [bcm2835 ALSA], device 1: bcm2835 ALSA [bcm2835 IEC958/HDMI]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: sndrpihifiberry [snd_rpi_hifiberry_dac], device 0: HifiBerry DAC HiFi pcm5102a-hifi-0 []
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

pi@raspberrypi ~ $ cat /proc/asound/cards
0 [ALSA ]: bcm2835 - bcm2835 ALSA
bcm2835 ALSA
1 [sndrpihifiberry]: snd_rpi_hifiber - snd_rpi_hifiberry_dac
snd_rpi_hifiberry_dac

My question is how to switch ALSA from "original audio jack of pi " to "hifiberry dac"?

The guide said:
Create /etc/asound.conf with the following content:

pcm.!default {
type hw card 0
}
ctl.!default {
type hw card 0
}
but from my device list, I think it should be 1. Then I test by modified as "1",
but still cannot get the audio from hifberry dac.
