Hi,
I'm running Daniel's preconfigured OpenElec 4.1.6 image which works perfectly (apart from the known AirPlay bug for video, I guess this will be solved when we will be able to upgrade to Kodi).
I am wondering whether anyone knows a way to have a dual audio output HifiBerry & PI's integrated headphone line.
I know it would appear more logical to use the amplifier only but because of the layout of my room I would like to have two computer speakers connected to the PI when I play movies to have sound behind me.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

HiFiBerry team Dear Rajah,
as far as I know, xbmc (and most other programs) do not offer the option to output the signal onto 2 different sound cards simultaneously.
Best regards

rajah Dear Daniel,
Thanks for the answer.
If I soldered a phone jack on the DAC+ like you mention on the website, would I have a viable dual output (amplifier via RCA, JBL computer speakers via the phone jack)?
If so do you have any advice on where to buy the component and where to find instructions on the soldering part?
Thanks a lot in advance -
HiFiBerry team Dear Rajah,
you don't need to solder another connector. An RCA splitter cable will do the job. This looks like this:

(you need 2 of them).
Best regards
Daniel
