Hi,
I am using Digi+ with the latest OpenElec build (still beta),
Digi has the green light on,
I followed the instructions in this page and also the guide for Digi+ on OE,
aplay -l says no sound card is defined,
dmesg | egrep '(hifib|wm88)' gives the following:

HiFiBerry team What kernel is it based on? In 3.16 and 3.17 it looks like several people work on the ASoc sound subsystem. I would not recommend using this at the moment.
Best regards

Erez Siag Hi Daniel,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
How can I know what kernel it is based on?
If I run uname -a :
Linux OpenELEC 3.17.1 #1 PREEMPT Wed Oct 29 00:05:26 IST 2014 armv6l GNU/Linux
So I guess I am using version 3.17? how can I downgrade it?
I thought I had to have the newest release for the Digi+ to work?
Thanks,
Erez -
HiFiBerry team Dear Erez,
no, don't use the beta. The release linked here works well:

Best regards

Erez Siag Hi Daniel,
I cannot use the image as I need to tweak the build to enable touchscreen.
I am using this command to get the release, and it always brings me the latest version:
git clone git://github.com/OpenELEC/OpenELEC.tv.git
Can you give me a link from which I can git the openelec official release?
Thanks,
Erez -
HiFiBerry team Hi Erez,
I can't tell you this. You have to ask the OpenElec developers how to get 4.1.6 by Git.
Best regards
Daniel
