HiFiBerry team Hi,
only the I2C pins are used. The other GPIOs (except for all the pins on the P5 header) can be used. Note that you should not draw more than a few mA from the 3.3V rail. If you need power, I recommend using the 5V rail.
Best regards

HiFiBerry team Dear Haldi,
while it might be possible, I would not recommend it for the following reasons:
- I'm not sure, if the GPIOs work together
- Power consumption of the board might be another issue
- To connect both, you have to remove the original header on the HiFiBerry Amp and replace it by a stacking header. There is a chance, that the board gets damaged during this operation.
- Heat could also be an issue
In general I would recommend doing this only to experienced electronics geek that can look at all the points that I pointed out above (and maybe even more).
Best regards
Daniel
