Hello,
Digi + Wifi dongle don't work together on Volumio 1.2, therefor no problem with the BerryDac in the same configuration.
Something to verify/change on the parameters ?

HiFiBerry team Hi Nicolas,
Volumio 1.2 is very old. Therefore some drivers might not be included. Is there any reason not to use the latest version 1.1?
Best regards

Nicolas Mats Yes, I don't like the "auto-scan" function of the network to find music, I've got numerous files and it takes too much time. But maybe I have to retry.
One thing I don't understant, why it works fine fine whith the BerryDac and fail with the BerryDigi ? -
HiFiBerry team Dear Nicolas,
this is really interesting. However I have no idea. If it works with the DAC, it should also work with the Digi. Maybe the power supply is not stable enough. The Digi draws a few mA more then the DAC. If the power supply is not stable enough, USB devices might not get the right supply voltage and fail.
However you can still try upgrading the kernel on the old Volumio and see if this helps:

sjocque I have the same proble with HifiBerry+ (with wipi wifi dongle):
I'm using pCoriplayer 1.17a and Pi Musicbox 0.5 and in both cases: when i try to use the hifiberry as sound output, the wifi connection drops.
